Sure thing. Whenever I can help, I try to do my best. I also hope they get their chance. What I've seen from Space Hulk was more than just amazing to be honest. I know, not as complex as Jagged, but it's a good ground to build on.

Hey scope,
What exactly do you want me to explain? Over the campaign they pretty much made clear how they got the license. Was I asked if we should hand them the license for their game? Yes. What did I say? "Show me Space Hulk first, please". I've seen it. I said yes. I fall on my knees to convince people to give them the license. And so we did. They now have it. For their game. That's it pretty much.
Did we offer funding? Yes we did. But Full Control rejected as they wanted to stay independent. Which is fine. Will they get additional funding after the Kickstarter from us? Depends on them I'd say. I don't know if they are looking for a retail-partner / publisher. If so, that could be an option. Of course. So if they want to sell the retail rights, sure, we're open for that as well.
The thing is that they are asking for additional 350k. They are not a new company. They made games before and have quite an income (of course we did a background check, pretty usual business these days) with which they can stretch development. Plus they have Space Hulk in the pipline which should, if you ask me, bring in quite some money.
I've read somewhere from Chris Camfield that Sir-Tech was like 12 people and they still needed to code their full engine and stuff. Well, FC are quite equal in size. But they already have their Engine and "just" need to improve it once more, which they did before. So yeah, personally I do believe that they can make a worthy successor. In one of their recent updates they even explained some more parts of the deal they made with us. Due to the fact that we are the full owner of the Jagged IP they, as every other studio which might or might not work on JA in the future, use every ever produced asset for the series. So this can save them quite some money too if they just have to rework a gun or a house or whatever.

Echt mal.
