Please answer to the polls ONLY if you have played the demo thoroughly
But yeah, share your opinions of the demo! Please don't be abusive, be constructive.

I'm curious as the whether the demo has changed the opinions of people for better or for worse. I'm also curious if it has led people to pre-order the game or even cancel their pre-orders.

Ok , i have vote for the pool
Thx for the Pool-Action
Can i share my Opinion in this thread?
I miss the turnbase but of the other side is the Plan & Go a fresh wind
The Demo was no very easy and and I think the full game keep me a couple of hours having fun
I am a big fan of Turnbase (Ja2, Ufo (X-com)) I think my not make a semi real full time & turnbase like x-com 3
but I think PLan & Go is like that. The Iventory was not very good , to much to click.
The Portaits no so good but is ok . I like the Music .
sorry for my english

I have to say, I really liked the Demo. The game looks challanging, and fun. I can wait for the release. While I agree on the FOW (please patch back in, even if just an option), I am generally gratefull to the Devs and Pubs for making this game. I appreciate that there are material differances from JA2, I'm glad this didn't go FPS (Xcom, Fallout, Syndicate).
The Plan&Go system seems to be pretty good, you guys ahve done well there.
Good job so far guys, I'm looking forward to the final product.

I'm not out for TB but RTwP is good enough to make my gaming style so no problem with P&G but for now I have to say after use 2 different main strategy demo was beaten cause I can see what AI doing so if it didn't hide away game always gone easy.
in the other hand I must say graphic engine really good (some minor tweaks needed tough like camera adjustments) but portraits come on I don't want to see them :S
voices other then merchs voices every thing feels right but specially Magic and Lynx sounds like not them :S
attachments really don't know how to say this but its not seems enough and not right mode like think it this way scope just moves from m14 to dragunov! hey they are using different type of scopes :S
I must admit that some thing under the games hood makes me pre order it I don't know what it is but I think it's about chances that the game will become not it's what it right now maybe there will be dead end at this but I war paid nearly 50$ to duke nukem forever and I can say that it's 2nd worse continue game that I played so far first one is doom 3 and I really hate it.
what ever lets say what needed:
FoW definitely needed
AİM I still insist about it
modding friendly tools
and some time for makes merchs better (like portraits)

@BigFaTlaDy; I have not gone to visit The Bears Pit in years! Better go drop in, curious to see what they say. Why don't you go and tell the JA fans over there to come and take the poll at least? Just to get the numbers more accurate...
@BigFaTlaDy; Nevermind, I noticed Peal allready did that!

I noticed! Well done, the forum over at The Bears Pit reads VERY differently than here. It is so good to see that there's so many other gamers that's just as pasionate about JA as me!
But to answer the OP's question in one word (After playing the demo, how do you feel?)> SAD

I don't get the obsession with the portraits and voices of the mercs... I played JA2 with voices disabled, and only check the portraits when my mercs are getting hit. The new ones are just as corny as the last???
While BIA definitely has some serious interface faults and countless things it can still pickup from 1.13, I think that it has a good feel and that the base we-go system plus mod-ability (hopefully) will make it worth buying.
Why don't these "Pit" guys come over here and try to convince the developers that this game will be worth supporting and releasing modding tools for because if "the pit" likes it, it will ensure that the game has a cult following and will still sell on steam for $19.99 6-years after release...

There are way too many annoying bugs/features that might be fixed in a patch or two but still, for me to buy the game at it's current full price it would need a huge overhaul.
Thank you and see you in a couple of months.

I stopped and went to cut an onion so I had an excuse for tears in my eyes...
I'll write down my thoughts about the demo/game after a couple of days - after I recover from initial shock and go and try to replay it.

Sadly that those with intelligence are all gone. I will miss your fresh on point postings, see you!Well, after playing the demo over and over again (trying to justify to myself as to why buy it full price) I couldn't get the feeling that I won't like the finished game. So I'll just wait a month or two and get it for 10€ on steam or some other media outlet.
