We really don't know. Steam has order to unlock it as soon as they start to work.

Unless you're in Fiji, in which case today is already tomorrow (I tried setting my time zone to Fiji and it said the game gets released on the 10th instead of the 9th).

I wouldn't say that. It's nearly 11AM Steam time, but they usually unlock in a window between 10AM and 1PM. So there is still time for it to come up today.

the demo run only with steam, in the german forum michael say they working on a demo without steam but it is not finish yet
