I love tactical wargames. There has been a scarcity of them for awhile now. Aperion made a few but have now closed their doors (why developers don't release the source code once they stop making games I've no idea). Their games where buggy and usually badly translated, however people like the Blue Sun modders are keeping at least one of their games alive. We had Silent Storm which still looks great today, a brilliant engine that's now wasted, also the design decision to add mechs was odd. Alfa terror, another game that needed alot more testing, the game has alot going for it except the ridiculous difficulty and restricted linear missions.

I applaud Bit Composer for having the balls to develop a game when many developers\publishers would run a mile from this genre. I'm hoping the next XCOM game turns heads and we see a resurgence of tactical games.

Anyway to get to my point.

Bit Composer have you plans to release expansions or another game in the series once this one is all patched up a all features are implemented? Please don't let this engine die a death like all the others. You have got alot right and some things wrong, nothing that hasn't been sorted by modders or couldn't be sorted by yoursleves and it sounds like your planning on doing it. I want to know your plans abit further along. Is this the only game thats going to be made or not?

@bitComposer Games

How many copies of the game managed to sell you a month after the premiere? Is the amount sold bodes well for the future of the series in the coming years?

I cannot yet talk about future plans of the franchise.
Please take notice of the word "yet".
I won't answer all questions. I do my best to answer those I can and I am allowed to answer.

Please note: Check my profile for updates sometimes. Cause sometimes I update it with interesting posts. Or with informations about my holidays. Which also can be interesting if you are waiting for support.

A little bit pity that bitComposer guys has staked on the broad audience of gamers while tactical strategy were niche games. The primary concept was to make a niche product playable for a wide audience so the game would be easy to beginners. There's nothing to be done. there are 2 reasons - money& contract timeline.

It's just my opinion... though the solution of almost ideal tactical game is simple like a paper hat. According to progress of strategy games technologies today: to take nice 3D levels desighn from JABIA (bitComposer respect for that), storyline from JA2, SmartPauseMode, weapons attach system & powerleveling from Е5\7,62& mines using concept from "Man of prey". 100% sure it ll be a hit up to the next millenium.
& 1 more thing please don't forget about the modders. JA 2 is still alife& bitComposer team has enough experience to make a fitting JA 3.
Michael Sorry for my engl, it's not my primal language.

And i more idea. Maybe it'll be usefull to the next patch. I've made a LAW launcher a one-use weapon like in real life. Just redused it's "Quality" down to the "1" & redused "Efficient" of tool kits less 100 ( 80 is optimal), just not to allow the mercs with Mechanic Exp100 enable to repair it. Now it works good.

Now it works good but i had to contribute rocket rifles to use Rocket ammo for LAW. Hope some of additional Ammo ID's will be animated the same like 66mm Rockets in game .
