For nostalgia, preperation and inspired by the good news, I have decided to start playing JA2:WF again. Now my question is; is there any way to play the game in windowed mode? There's the WF6.ini, but it only gives arguments for where to find the cd. Is it possible to add arguments?

For nostalgia, preperation and inspired by the good news, I have decided to start playing JA2:WF again. Now my question is; is there any way to play the game in windowed mode? There's the WF6.ini, but it only gives arguments for where to find the cd. Is it possible to add arguments?
Windowed Mode is only in 1.13. If u want change this in WF, u must try edit some things in source code, but Strategy Fist not published Source Code from WF.

As i found that page two months ago when i started JA2 again ..
Just use latest Tais SC for AIMNAS and copy v21 over it..
you have WF under JA2 1.13 .. and can play it windowed.. and enjoy it..

side note : there are not any mods for wildfire as far as i know..
so you play JA2 1.13 with maps based on WF and plenty of other things, generally its far superior to WF 6.06 / at least for me.
Apart of difficulty ofc.. since WF is more difficult.. for sure.. but playing it on 25" screen is painfull

Kind of, IT is possible but Tricky !
Get Sun Virtual Maschine (it´s Freeware), with it you can install other Opration Systems on an Virtual PC, This Virtual Pc you can Start in Windowed Mode ! So Wildfire will be Fullscreen in your Virtual PC, but scince the Virtual PC is Windowed it´s Windowed
€1: But I would play JA2 1.13 with Wildfiremaps it´s much better, more Features and more stable
