"Back in Action" is a great game for me too. I'm enjoying it a lot even in a current state. I want to say thank you for your past & future efforts. And please don't hate "JA2 Vet". Because I'm one of them.
Sorry for my strange Engrish.

Thank you for sharing Michael. Sorry, I've misunderstood you at first, but now I like you. I think you are just trying to talk honestly and carefully.

After careful reading, I wasn't able to definitively infer whether FOW will be coming or not, despite Michael's assertion. What makes you think it's coming?
Michael today
I know you want to know if the fog of war is coming back. I cannot confirm or deny this for the moment. I already know if it's coming or not. If you read this posting carefully you will (or at least should be able to) know, too.
I think that there'll be some official thing in the next week.
Michael some time ago
The Demo question. Hah. Good one. Since I'm not allowed to preannounce something which might or might not happen I'll answer like I did it in the german forums:
IF there will be a demo, I'd GUESS that it COULD contain the tutorial and the first map. This is not an official announcement but just a guess
then Zero ask
if there would be a demo prior to release wich ist february 9th iirc they would have announced it by now. so most likely its coming post release.
then Michael
To give another hint (so read between the lines): Do you REALLLY believe that?
we all know the Result !
Anway I think it´s save to say that there is a plan of bring back FOW, it´s just if they can make it the Way the want !
Well thats a guess from my Side
€1 I don´t think that Michael is the kind of Guy wich tease us about FOW and tell he knows we want it and then things like maybe or may not I allready know it and take a guess read between the lines and then it will not in the Game !
he could have the same result if he just post "please flame us to death"

Sounds like a plan. Oh wait. No.he could have the same result if he just post "please flame us to death"
Please note: Check my profile for updates sometimes. Cause sometimes I update it with interesting posts. Or with informations about my holidays. Which also can be interesting if you are waiting for support.

I thought that FOW was removed because it would hinder P&G a lot, so if they just toss FOW back in, the game could get even worse. Let's just hope they'll do the right choice (I believe they will).

If they plan to bring FOW back, i just hope they (as already said by someone) make it work properly with the Plan&Go system.

I think they will, cause just turn it back on is no big Deal and would be done allready if they want to do it that way

I am having a great time with the game and am happy to hear that they are releasing some improvements which will make it still better. Maybe then in the long run we could get DLC? Expansion campaigns with different (or the same) mercs and yada yada yada.
please no DLCs , make a full expansion pack for 20 to 30 buck

People are stupid. DLC is good when it is good, and bad when it is bad, like anything else. They want to release a $10 DLC that has 5 guns and 1 new location, screw that. They want to release a $20 DLC that has a whole new campaign and I would be totally interested. Its all about the value, not the name. Its funny how people now are ASKING for DLC.
I remember when DLC first came about and people were treating it like it was criminal.
DLC are just small expansions under a different name. People act like it is new but in the late 90s early 00s there were some pretty horrible (and small) expansions for games. Civ 3 had multiplayer that did not work despite being heavily advertised, then had a $30 "Play the World" expansion that you could buy, and the multiplayer in THAT didn't work. I'll take spending $2 for some additional locations over that any day.
People love to whine about DLC but if you don't want it don't buy it. It is really quite simple. The companies need the money to make the games. Running a business isn't a crime.

You must be a modern day philosopher, this is so deep I can't even begin to compare to such intellectual brilliance.
I never even said DLC was good or bad, I just made a passing reference to the change in public perception from when DLC first entered the market and now.

Greetings everybody!
As you may have seen I wasn't answering as much as before in the last days. Doesn't mean I'm not reading the threads (Coreplay is also, some other guys here from bitComposer too). Doesn't mean I won't be around here anymore.
This is the kind of individual attention games from the big name companies rarely ever receive. It's encouraging to know our thoughts and feedback are being actively read by the devs and our ideas are being given consideration.
Yes, these two updates will include new features. No, they won't cost anything (hah, well, at least they won't cost you, the players, anything
).
Yet more good news, honestly I was expecting to see any new features be DLC for a less then acceptable price. (such as $9.99 for world inventory management and supply dropping.) I'm glad to see I was mistaken and will be looking forward to these updates eagerly.
We went through all the feedback (yes, all of it) and made quite a huge list. We still think that Back in Action is a great game. Now it's time to convince those who aren't yet enjoying it, wouldn't you agree?
Aye indeed. It's this kind of community feedback being taken to heart and shaping the games final presentation that makes many of the smaller companies products superior to the big name releases.
Makes me glad I picked this up during the first day of release, it's been a great experience so far and is looking get even better in the near future!
